Production programme for processed glass
Glass Processing
We can produce glass according to your wishes. We adjust the edges of the glass, drill holes for the handle, handle, hinges, or cut holes in the glass according to your needs. We can make glass of almost any shape.
Looking for a unique design for your interior or exterior? Check out our portfolio for digital printing, sandblasting or glass engraving.
Edge Machining, Cut-outs, Holes
Edge machining
Polished edge – a polished edge has a glossy appearance.
Sanded edge – a sanded edge has a matt appearance.
Chamfered edge – this is the lowest level of edge treatment and serves as a safety edge against cuts. Only the sharp edge of the glass is processed in the process. It is not a sight edge, it is most often hidden in mouldings or frames.
Cut-out
Using a diamond tool or water jet, we can prepare almost any hole in the glass on request. Whether it is cut-outs for hinges, fittings, locks or large gaps in the glass technology.
Holes
According to your specification and drawing, we will drill holes in the glass from Ø5mm to Ø70mm. For holes larger than Ø70mm it is already a cut-out.
Digital Printing
A new opportunity to create unique and individual designs for both exteriors and interiors. Any motif can be applied using digital technology with ceramic paints on glass, which is then cured in a hardening furnace.
This gives the glass the properties of safety glass (ESG or TVG according to EN 12150-1 and EN 1863-1) and at the same time the motif becomes resistant to abrasion, weather conditions and other environmental influences, the colours are stable and resistant to UV radiation.
This technology opens up a wide range of new applications in construction and interior design. These glasses can be used both for facades, thanks to the colour stability and safety of the glass, and in interiors such as partition walls, kitchen tiles, shower screens, etc.
For inspiration and to facilitate the choice, it is possible to draw on fixed motifs from the ISOTHERM “PRINTGLASS” catalogue, which is available on request, or the customer can supply his own motif.

- Print quality: image resolution min 300 dpi
- Colour range: RAL, PANTONE, CMYK, according to our colour chart
Laser engraving
Laser matting is an alternative to the classic sandblasting and etching process. Laser matting is characterised by a higher resistance to soiling than other matted surfaces. However, at the customer’s request, it is also possible to provide the laser frosted glass surface with a protective impregnation against contamination.
Using laser technology, it is possible to produce the finest graphic structures such as lines and dots, which are impossible or very difficult to produce conventionally.
Producing greyscale using a laser is no problem and so it is possible to apply photographs and graphics to glass without compromising their quality.
Laser surface matting is possible on all common types of glass as well as, for example, on glass to be further processed for ESG or TVG.
Thus, such frosted glass can be used for all-glass doors, facades or shower enclosures. Glass with glass layers such as mirrors, chrome or ceramic and organic colour layers can also be processed by laser processes.
Parameters:
- Maximum size: 1800 x 3000 mm
- Minimum dimension: 70 x 70 mm
- Maximum weight: 150kg/bm
- Glass thickness: 3-25 mm
- Data format: ai, tif, jpg, pdf, dwg
- Maximum pattern size: 1700 x 2700 mm
Sandblasting
Sandblasting is one of the processes by which the surface of glass can be decorated. It is a technology for treating the surface of glass using compressed air with sand particles. The sand particles on contact with the glass form a rough glass coating that imitates the look and feel of sand.
Sandblasting can be used to create inscriptions, patterns, decorative motifs on the surface of the glass, or the glass can be frosted all over. It is recommended to coat the sandblasted surface with Signapur – UV light hardened lacquer.
Maximum dimensions of sandblasted glass
Max. height of sandblasted glass: 1800 mm.
Max. length of sandblasted glass: in agreement with the manufacturer.
Surface Finishing
Painting Nano Shield – “easy-to-clean”
Nano-shield – a transparent protective coating is a special protective coating for glass showers, sanitary ceramics or glazed tiles for sanitary cells that considerably facilitates sanitary cleaning and significantly reduces maintenance. On these ultra-smooth surfaces, the droplets aggregate into large beads which, together with trapped dirt such as soap residues, run off almost without residue.
The nanolayer causes a significant increase in surface smoothness, reducing the rapid deposition of limescale and other contaminants such as bacteria. The surface can thus be cleaned more easily. This saves considerable time and costs during daily cleaning.
Painting Signapur
This is a transparent protective nano-coating hardened by UV light.
Signapur has the same properties as Nano shield.
