PURIFICATION OF PROCESS WATER FOR COOLING THE TOOLS OF GLASS PROCESSING MACHINES
The company ISOTHERM s.r.o. has developed its own system of complete disposal of the coating in the technological process of glass processing up to the disposal of the coating outside the plant.
ISOTHERM s.r.o. manufactures cleaning equipment, which includes a patented self-cleaning tank of process water and has a system of using the resulting sludge as input raw material for further processing.

The cleaning equipment consists of two stages, the third stage is the disposal of the abrasive outside the plant:
1° self-cleaning process water tank – replaces the original tank of mainly rectangular shape. Cooling water is pumped from this tank to the tools. Water passed through the machine flows back into this tank, including the abrasive. From this self-cleaning tank the water is pumped with all the dressing while adding flocculant to the sedimentation tank. Isotherm has been granted patent CZ 305 337 for this special self-cleaning tank, see appendix.
2° sedimentační nádrž – znečištěná voda s obrusem se čerpá za přidání flokulantu do této nádrže. V centrální míchací zóně se řádně smíchá flokulant se znečištěnou vodou a začnou se tvořit flokule, které vlastní vahou klesají do kuželového dna nádrže. Periodicky se voda s usazenými flokulemi ze dna nádrže odpouští do vaku umístěného pod touto nádrží. Vyčištěná voda se nám vrací přepadem do středu samočisticí nádrže.
2° sedimentation tank – polluted water with the tablecloth is pumped with the addition of flocculant into this tank. In the central mixing zone, the flocculant is properly mixed with the dirty water and floccules start to form, which sink by their own weight into the conical bottom of the tank. Periodically, the water with the settled floccules is discharged from the bottom of the tank into a bag located below the tank. The cleaned water is returned to the centre of the self-cleaning tank via an overflow.
3° disposal of the tablecloth – Isotherm is involved in a tablecloth recovery scheme where the tablecloth is reclassified from landfill-fee waste to raw material for further processing. For users of our process water treatment plant, this disposal system is provided free of charge.
Advantages of two-stage cleaning equipment
- The glass processing machine always works with sufficiently clean water
- Cleaning of the process cooling water storage tank from the grinding wheel is eliminated
- Both cleaning stages are operated by one sludge pump
- The size of the purifier can be adapted to the capacity needs of the respective machine
Equipment price and delivery time:
- The price of the equipment depends on its size and the comfort of the equipment. It is interesting in comparison with similar devices of the same performance
- Delivery time normally 4 weeks after signing the purchase contract and paying the deposit
