About Us
Isotherm was founded by the father of the current CEO, Daniel Schmidinger. Erich Schmidinger already had good contacts with the Czech Republic and founded the company in 1994.
Today Isotherm in Kaplice is one of the most modern glass companies in Central Europe. Today the company mainly produces insulating glass and safety glass.
Today, Isotherm employs more than 280 people in its production plant in Kaplice and in Lázně Toušeň.

Since 2013, ISOTHERM has been a member of SANCO GROUP – a powerful alliance of medium-sized insulating glass manufacturers. Since 2014 ISOTHERM has been a member of the ČKLOP.
History
Isotherm can look back on a success story that has taken an impressive course.
Beginning of production
In 1994, Isotherm began manufacturing double glazing, which it supplies mainly to manufacturers of plastic and wooden windows at home and abroad.
Production expansion
In 1998, production expanded to include glass processing – grinding, drilling, polishing. Due to the lack of storage capacity and at the same time in order to expand the company’s sales opportunities, a sales warehouse in České Budějovice was leased in 1998.
Tempering and processing of glass
In the second half of 2002, the company started the complete production of glass processing and tempering.
Glaizer
Since 2011, a glazier has been working on the company’s premises, processing one-time orders or smaller orders.

Since 2013, Isotherm has been a member of SANCO GROUP – a powerful alliance of medium-sized insulating glass manufacturers.
Member of CKLOP
Since 2014, ISOTHERM has been a member of the Czech Chamber of Light Perimeter Coats. Compliance with applicable norms and regulations, good technological procedures and quality standards.
The largest amount of processed glass
In 2021, we again historically surpassed the amount of processed glass in both the Kaplice plant and the Lázně Toušeň plant.
